Hekate‘s Night

Devotional Chanting Circle

Let’s spend one night together celebrating our Lady of liminal space.

If you are already a devotee of Hekate, or if you just feel called to take part to this night, join us.

This practice includes a talk and discussion circle, meditation and ritual that culminates in a devotional chanting circle.

The chanting circle will be our powerful invocation. We will bring sound into our devotional practice and everyone is going to contribute using their voice, instruments or any object. No knowledge and experience with music required.

Please bring:

• any harmonic or rhythmic instrument or object, that can produce a sound: percussions, rattles, cymbals, strophalos, sistrums, bells, music instruments of any kind if you have any, drums very welcome, or even just 2 sticks or 2 stones, and of course, your voice.
• Offering: please bring flowers for the altar, one per person.
• you can bring your “everyday” ritual clothes if you use any and you want to, that can be your robe or anything else you feel comfortable in. Natural materials are obviously to be preferred.
• prepare for a night to honour a deity in the way you are used to (purification, abstention, rituals)
