ATTUNEMENT

April 4 @ 8:30 pm – 10:30 pm
live sound performance with Sanki
Attunement is a live sound performance centred around water, resonance and subtle disturbance. A small illuminated water tank becomes both instrument and surface — contact microphones and vibration speakers amplify hidden textures within the material.
Minimal gestures, air movement and physical vibration gradually shift the sonic field, moving between low-frequency drones, metallic friction and submerged distortions. The sound builds slowly, like a breathing organism, unfolding in cycles of tension and release.
The performance explores sensitivity, instability and transformation and listening becomes a physical, almost ritual act.
Sanki is a London-based sound and interdisciplinary artist whose practice spans installation, digital media, generative composition, and performance. She weaves sound, visual, and spatial experience to create immersive atmospheres that invite audiences to explore the intersections of sensation and existence. Her work often investigates the boundaries between body, system, and perception, extending into video pieces where sound intertwines with the poetics of fragmented time and sensory ambiguity. Her performances balance violent intensity with meditative tension, guiding audiences into hidden spaces where extremity and beauty converge.
