Hekate‘s Night

Let’s spend one night together celebrating our Lady of liminal space. The night is hosted by “The Serpents Of Babylon”, the only Berlin-based Hekate devotional group.

If you are already a devotee of Hekate, or if you just feel called to take part to this night, join us. 

This practice includes a talk and  discussion circle, meditation and  ritual.

The topic of Sept. 26th is: The role of Hekate in the Eleusinian Mysteries

The ritual is designed to be accessible also to neofites.

Please bring: 

— Offering, one of those items of your choice: 

– A sheaf of wheat or barley

– A little cake or piece of cake, or a bisquit. No ultraprocessed industrial food. If you can bake it yourself it’s always better.

– A little handful of grains (Wheat, Rice, corn, millet…) 

– A poppy flower

Please don’t bring any fruit, vegetables, liquids.

— you can bring your “everyday”  ritual clothes if you use any and you want to, that can be your robe or anything else you feel comfortable in. Natural materials are obviously to be preferred. 

— prepare for a night to honour a deity in the way you are used to (purification, abstention, rituals)
