SUMMARY:3 Cauldrons
DESCRIPTION:Celtic divination through movement \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn pagan Irish society\, the Filid (poets) held near-divine status. Through their words\, they channelled divine inspiration\, prophecy\, or clairvoyance\, and like spells cast their satire could topple rulers. The Cauldron of Poesy is a cryptic early Irish text dating to the 8th century\, which outlines the conditions necessary for cultivating this creative inspiration\, using an allegory of 3 cauldrons. In this workshop\, we’ll journey together through a gentle improvised movement practice to explore each of the cauldrons. \n\n\n\nHosted by \n\n\n\nMíntírigh translates to reclaim. Drawing inspiration from the Mná Feasa (‘Knowing Women’/Seers)\, Miriam creatively combines insights from their studies of Celtic heritage\, paganism\, expressionist movement studies and somatics\, to hold explorative journeys for individual and communal release.  \n\n\n\nLimited to 15 places
