A non-narrative work\, it has been identified as a key example of the “trance film\,” in which a protagonist appears in a dreamlike state\, and where the camera conveys his or her subjective focus” \n\n\n\n‎”The Wormwood Star” (1956) directed by Curtis Harrington.“A portrait of artist\, actress\, poet and occultist Marjorie Cameron: an artist. A poet. A muse. A cartographer for the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the war. A member of the propaganda machine. An occultist. An actress. Perhaps the Whore of Babylon.” \n\n\n\nWe will accompany the night with red wine in honor of Babalon. \n\n\n\nThe evening will end with a set of underground music from the 60s and 70s related to the occult. \n\n\n\ndoors open at 7:00 p.m.\, film starts at 8:00 p.m.
