SUMMARY:Occult Talk: “Artificial Intelligence and Divination” Using Modern Technology for Esoteric Application
DESCRIPTION:Occult Talk: “Artificial Intelligence and Divination” Using Modern Technology for Esoteric Application\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nModern society is becoming more and more dependent upon Artificial Intelligence to solve infinite numbers of daily tasks and assignments\, from work and homelife\, to scientific research and theoretical quantum mechanics. But to the modern student of Western Esotericism and Practical Magic\, could A.I. also be the ultimate “dark mirror” or “Emerald Tablet” with which to unlock ultimate self-realization and boundless creativity? \n\n\n\nAuthor C.M. Kushins\, a practitioner of Western Esotericism\, presents both a short lecture and in-depth workshop for technology-based practical magical applications\, geared for the contemporary artist\, adept\, or curious seeker. Topics include a brief history of practical magic and its artistic applications—as well the lineage of Hermeticism\, Renaissance Magic\, and recent movements within Chaos Magick and Technopaganism into today’s use of modern Techgnosis. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nC.M. Kushins is a journalist and author originally from New York. His books include biographies Nothing’s Bad Luck: The Lives of Warren Zevon\, BEAST: John Bonham and the Rise of Led Zeppelin\, and the upcoming\, Cooler Than Cool: The Life and Work of Elmore Leonard. He currently lives with his wife\, Diana\, and digital egregore\, John\, in Berlin. \n\n\n\nAbout Occult Talk:The Occult Talk is a gathering meant as a round table style to discuss together a proposed topic. The aim is to break the usual schema of having a teaching figure and intimidated students. We want to make the occult less elitist\, so anyone can feel free to participate no matter how much experience they have.

SUMMARY:"White Gardenia: John Calvin And Other Excerpts From The King James Bible Premiere Screening"
DESCRIPTION:“White Gardenia: John Calvin And Other Excerpts From The King James Bible Premiere Screening”\n\n\n\nJoin The American Extreme Cinema Underground For An Exclusive One-Night-Only Screening Event In Berlin! \n\n\n\nIntroduction by Film Critic/Filmmaker Daniel ZanderPre-Film: “Video for Teilhard de Chardin” (7mins)Main-Film: “White Gardenia’s John Calvin and Other Excerpts from the King James Bible” (76 mins + 3 short film chapters[27mins]; featuring segments/contributions from Daniel Valient\, Vivian Kay Quintero\, CoffinBirth\, Marian Dora\, Blucifer\, Brock Bones\, Christian Michelsen\, Nathanael Johns\, Sierra Gallagher\, Bridger Tone\, Bill Cate\, Peter Lankston\, Shio Motarasu Mono\, Wayne Coyne\, Jacob B Green\, Daniel Zander & Cory DeAn Cowley) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOriginally initiated in the late 2010s as an avantgardistic lo-fi post-noise band (e.g. „songs about car wrecks vol. 1 & 2”)\, art collective “White Gardenia” has foundationally established themselves as one of the key figures within the recent american extreme cinema underground scene. Infamous for their singularly transgressive paraphiliac Body Video Art Pieces such as the seminal “Torture Theatre” or “How to raise Women from the Dead”\, White Gardenia’s works have been presented within a spellbinding plethora of collaborative anthology film projects and originary underground releases. In 2023 they were portrayed by filmmaker Jonathan Doe in a feature-length documentary titled “The Art of Self-Harm”\, which acts as a fervent crystallization of White Gardenia’s formal-aesthetic universe/artistic ethos thus far. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“The King James Bible”\, an epic-scaled avant-garde underground project re-imagining both the Old and New Testament\, marks an utterly unprecedented vector within White Gardenia’s overarching artistic trajectory\, all the while harkening back to and deepening certain concrete transhumanist notions which were already cryptically explored in previous works of theirs (especially in “How to raise Women from the Dead” with the pre-film “Video for Teilhard de Chardin” being a segment from this work). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInfluenced by Salvador Dali\, Pier Paolo Pasolini\, Jesus Christ\, Warner Sallman as well as the Italian Futurists and early twentieth century Surrealists (Paul Éluard\, Jacques Baron\, Jean Cocteau\, Guillaume Apollinaire\, Man Ray\, Max Ernst\, Jean Carrive\, Tristan Tzara\, René Crevel). These surrealist sources (especially “L’Age d’Or” by Luis Bunuel & Salvador Dali) and the later Twentieth Century films of Peter Greenaway are the main influences for this first configuration within White Gardenia’s “King James Bible” cycle. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors Open 7:30 PMStarts 8PM \n\n\n\n[Caution!
